Frequently Asked Questions

A:

Yes. But there is an additional fee for severe infestations.

A:

No. Roaches have eggs and even if you eradicate every adult, as soon as the eggs hatch they will be back.  Ongoing treatment is necessary in almost all German cockroach infestations.

A:

American & Other Roaches

Our general pest treatment will take care of these. There is no additional charge for these types of roaches.

German Roaches

Treatment consists of an inspection, flushing them out of their hiding places, and ongoing treatments to take care of the egg hatchlings.

We will come back every two weeks to break the lifecycle of the roaches and their eggs.

A:

German cockroaches can be one of the hardest insects to treat, because they are fast, resilient and multiply quickly. The easiest way to tell between German roaches and other kinds of roaches is their tan to light brown coloring and two parallel stripes on the back of their heads.

A:

Roaches appear in your home in search of food, shelter and water. They can enter small openings like cracks, dryer vents or gaps between your walls and floors to find a way into your home.

A:

The most common factors that attract roaches to clean homes include:

  • Untidy landscaping from fallen palm fronds and rotting fruits
  • Moisture from leaking sinks or washing machines.
  • Food sources that we may not consider food, like cardboard, hair and even glue
  • Overflowing trash cans near easy entrance points
  • Easy entrance points, including gaps under doors and torn screen doors.
A:

Cockroaches are active year round as long as the temperature stays above 50 degrees. Cockroach infestations are most common in the spring and summer.

A:

Roaches are most active at night, but they leave signs of their existence behind that you can see during the day. Here are the most common:

  • Droppings that look like tiny specks of pepper or larger pellets.
  • Musty odor
  • Skin sheddings
  • Brown smear marks
  • Egg capsules
A:

Natural treatments can work temporarily, but the best way to permanently get rid of roaches is to hire a pest control expert.

A:

The most effective treatment for roaches is to find and eliminate their entry point, nest location and feeding areas. Then your pest control expert can eliminate them using gel traps and other forms of poison bait.

We had a leak in the home, which caused field mice to come into the property. I called Dash and within a couple of hours, they were at my location to take care of the problem. The operator I spoke with was very helpful and communicative and the gentleman who arrived (Gabe) was extremely thorough and professional. I will definitely work with them again and will recommend them to anyone.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! Said they would be here between 2-4, showed up at 1:59 on the dot!! The kindest most responsive people ever, we were absolutely terrified and so grossed out and they made us feel so beyond comfortable. Could not possibly recommend them more or speak more highly of them!!! Also priced so fairly, could not be more worth it!!!!!
